There is a lack of adequate primary health facilities in poor rural areas. This project is centered on providing mobile medical vans to areas with a large need of medical treatment. There is currently 205 Mobile 1000 vans operating in 21 states and 1 Union Territory across India.
Proyecto Mirador has had a huge success in going to rural communities and installing clean cookstoves that improve the health and environment for Honduras. The stovetop uses half the amount of firewood, provides 6 years of smoke-free cooking, saves planet from 15 tonnes of carbon pollution and other benefits.
